A student may not ride home with a friend who is on a bus route unless a school bus pass has been issued-notes to the bus driver or verbal requests are not acceptable. Students need a bus pass from the school if they need to get off or on at a bus stop other than their assigned stop. A bus pass can be issued only to a stop that is on an existing bus route.
