Before & After School Program

Finley School District is proud to partner with the Educational Service District 123 to offer before and after-school programs through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC). The 21st CCLC programs are a before and after school program based out of local community centers as well as school districts. They offer academic and enrichment opportunities for students and their families before school, after school, and during the summer. In Finley, a 21st CCLC site is operated at both Finley Elementary and Finley Middle School.

21st CCLC program goals:

  • Increase student academic achievements in math, reading, English, and science
  • Increase student engagement and commitment to school, health/fitness and nutrition awareness
  • Engage students in technology, arts, music, theater, and robotics

Site schedules:

  • Finley Elementary (K-5)

    • Monday-Friday:  7:00-8:00 AM
    • Mon., Tue., Thur.:  2:35-5:00 PM
    • Wednesday:  12:45-5:00 PM
  • Finley Middle School (6-8)

    • Monday-Friday:  7:10-7:50 AM
    • Mon., Tue., Thur.:  2:20-5:00 PM
    • Wednesday:  12:30-5:00 PM

The 21st CCLC program also serves the families of participating students in conjunction with the school’s Action Team Partnership committees (ATP), or the local community to create special events, family engagement nights, and educational community opportunities.
