Seeking to Improve: CEE Survey
The Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) is working with our school district to find ways to improve. We are seeking stakeholder perceptions and feedback through a 10-15 minute survey that is available now through Friday, May 31st. All parents/guardians with students attending Finley schools are asked to complete the CEE Family Survey.
Athletics Update
RVHS
The baseball team won the EWAC East league championship with an overall record of 18-2 and a league record of 9-1. This is the first time since 2009 they have been league champions. They also made it to the District 5 championship last Saturday, May 13th. They lost 6-8 to Tri-Cities Prep, but punched their ticket to the WIAA state tournament. They played Tonasket on May 20th in the first round at Davis HS in Yakima.
The boys and girls track team won the EWAC East league championship on May 9th. This is the third year in a row both boys and girls have won the east league championship. We had 30 athletes competing at Districts on May 16th.
The softball team ended the regular season with an overall record of 8-10 and a league record of 3-5. They earned the #4 seed in the district tournament and played Kittitas on May 17th.
We had the Senior Athlete Signing Night on May 4th. We had seven senior athletes sign to play sports at the collegiate level.
FMS
- The baseball team finishes its season this week. They currently have a record of 6-1.
- The softball team finishes its season this week. They currently have a record of 5-2.

Finley School Board members dropped off Spudnuts for Teacher Appreciation Week and took time to enjoy our awesome kindergarten kids.

Finley FFA Builds Bunkbeds
Finley FFA is again stepping up to assist their community by constructing bunkbeds to donate to local nonprofit Mo’s Place. This is the third year they have partnered with Mo’s Place to provide bunkbeds in an effort to keep foster siblings together, thanks to funding from a National FFA Living to Serve Grant.
