Family Workshops

Join Us for Monthly Family Workshops
Posted on 01/04/2019

For the 2018-2019 school year, Finley Elementary teacher, Mrs. Bradshaw, is hosting 30-minute monthly family workshops at Finley Elementary School.  The workshops are held from 5:45-6:15 PM, during which time families can enjoy a pizza, soda, and cookie dinner!

During these quick workshops, Mrs. Bradshaw teaches families a strategy to use at home that will help their students be more successful at school and in their learning. Each month will have a specific skill/strategy. (See topics and dates below.)  Parents/guardians and students are all encouraged to come so you can learn together as a family! We will have a translator for our Spanish speaking families. There will not be any day care, but younger siblings are welcome if they can sit with their family for the short 30 minutes of learning and dinner.
