During the week of May 8th, the Benton-Franklin Counties Special Education PTA (BFCSEPTA) presented an “Outstanding Educator” award to River View High School special education teacher, Amanda Anderson. Ms. Anderson was honored for developing relationships with students, families, and the community, all of which contribute to her success at creating opportunities for her students to excel at RVHS and out in the community. She was awarded a framed keepsake certificate, and received gifts donated by Papa John’s Pizza and by Nothing Bundt Cakes. The BFCSEPTA recognizes, rewards, and promotes excellence in teaching and advocacy by educators in the community who are making a difference in the lives of students.
