Washington State law requires that any person newly hired by a school district with regularly, unsupervised access to children be fingerprinted for a record check through the Washington State Patrol (WSP) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  

 

Electronic Fingerprinting Services at Educational Service District 123

 

If you are not in the OSPI Electronic Certification data base you will be asked at the time of employment to:

1.      Call the ESD 123 receptionist at 509-547-8441 to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting. ESD 123 is located at 3918 W. Court Street Pasco, WA.

2.      Use the Verification of Fingerprinting form to record your appointment date and time.

3.      Take this form with you to be fingerprinted.

4.      Arrive at your fingerprinting appointment 10 minutes early to complete paperwork, please be sure to bring a photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport). Allow 30 minutes for the process.

5.      If you must bring children, please arrange for someone to supervise them during your appointment.

6.      Please reschedule your appointment if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late.

7.      Please return the completed Verification of Fingerprinting form to the Finley School District Office.

 

General Information:

  • Fingerprint appointments are available Monday – Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • If your fingerprint card is rejected, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for reprints (free of charge).

 

Fee Information:

  • School District employees and Educational Service District employees: $75.25
  • ESD 123 accepts personal checks, cash in the exact amount only, Visa, MasterCard and cashier’s checks made payable to ESD 123.
