New Legislation for 2007-2008 School Year

Recent legislation has been passed regarding co-pay elimination for

students eligible for reduced-price meals in Public Schools only. It is

important for you to understand that the legislation did not include the

elimination of co-pays for all children for lunch. This is how the

legislation was passed:

* All public school students eligible for reduced priced meals

will not pay a co-pay for breakfast during the upcoming school year -

2007/08.

* Public school students in grades K-3 eligible for

reduced priced meals will not pay a co-pay for lunch during the upcoming

school year - 2007/08.
